This quick guide walks you through the core steps to get value from TraceMate in your first session.
Go to the Assets section and click 'Add Asset'. Enter a clear name, type, and serial number. This is the foundation of your traceability.
Tip
Start with a critical instrument or asset that is frequently audited.
From the same asset, upload the latest calibration certificate (PDF). TraceMate will link this file to that asset so it's always easy to find.
Note
Make sure the certificate shows date, standard, issuing lab, and due date if available.
Add or confirm the calibration due date so TraceMate can track when it's due, due soon, or overdue. This feeds into your compliance dashboard.
If you're an admin, go to the Users section and invite your technicians, QA managers, and other staff. Assign appropriate roles so each person has the right level of access.
Note
Start with a small group first, then roll out to the wider team.
Open the Dashboard to see a snapshot of your current compliance status: total assets, due soon, overdue, and any open corrective actions.
Pro Tip
Use this as your daily or weekly check-in to stay audit-ready.
